Default Question about Simple Rotation. (PIC Explanation)

ok guys, i'm mad bored at work right now and obviously you can see, i have this simple question that needs an anwser.

as you can see, what i'm wondering is................

with the camber i have right now, can i just rotate the front tires with each other so that the inner wear is now going to be outside? Same with the rears.

I'm figuring i can't rotate the fronts from rear and rears from the fronts and what not, but it makes sense that i can just switch the tires from the fronts and also with the rears.

Am i missing something?

Since the tires are staggered and unidirectional, you need to mount and balance the tires again when you want to rotate them. So front will go on fronts and rears on rears.

Yes, plenty of people have done that. You need to swap the tires around on the wheel and then swap the sides to maintain the directionalness properly.

quick question:

i know its probably in the manual but i haven't bothered to check and maybe i can get answers from the "real" experts. how often should we mount/dismount our tires? I have an 04.5 and nearly approaching 10K miles...

Thanks!

I would say never, as long as you keep your tire pressure within specs, your alignment is maintained, and you do not see any unusual tread wear. You can't rotate fronts to rears anyway because of the size difference.

I've switched the fronts with each other. It did drive a little smoother, but the noad noise increased! I even switched the fronts to rear, and rear to fronts to see if it made a difference. The car drove great for a thousand miles or so, but then started getting really loud again. Ended up buying new tires b/c noise and rough ride was unbearable.
