Ok so i just got home from hangin' out w/ some friends at the Norm's (restaurant) by my house. We're outside the place in the parking lot just chillin' and talking, and this guy comes out w/ three other people. Then i hear the guy say, "I'd take a fully loaded Yukon over a Z anyday"...... I seriously just was in disbelief over what i heard LOL. i was pissed and annoyed and thought what a moron this guy was man...Comparing a goddamn suv to a sports car how does that make sense...i dunno it may not bug others but this really got to me lol...dunno why..anyway just had to kinda rant.

I wouldn't be pissed or insulted...like everybody else said, he's a truck guy...more power to him.

Personally, I wouldn't be caught dead (or alive) in ANYTHING made by GMC...yeesh! GM Quality, although better in recent years, is NOT yet up to par with foreign makes.

You should have been an a$$ right back. I was at a local meet in an 03 BMW Z8 Alpina Roadster and some guy said he'd rather have a Camaro SS built and spraying NOS. I told him "good, cuz you'll never be able to afford one of these." You should have just told him too bad he couldn't afford either one. Haters....they're everywhere.

 

Yeah, just ignore him. I used to get mad all the time about stuff like that, but you can't let it bother you.

 

I own a Denali and I think it is the greatest SUV besides the Escalade. Whats so bad about GMC anyways. I think my Denali is comfortable,strong, and looks very nice. I have a 22' boat and can't picture myself pulling it with a Highlander or any other foreign SUV.

 

How about the Land cruiser , Sequoia or the Armada?

 

I would not care what those SUV owners said.
Just don't park their monsters next to my Z.
I hate to back out parking spot without and chance to see any on comming traffic.

 

Umm if he bought a Z8.. iam sure he could afford a camaro... And that is just sorta ignorant to bring money into the situation.

 

I also have a Denali and love it (but really miss my Z). i thought about getting a Sequoia or the Armada also but the Sequoia when i checked did not have a Nav option and the Armada was having brake issues. The Land Cruiser was too expensive too, can't beat GMC's 0% apr for 72 months.
