Smile Just got my 350Z today!

It's parked next to my Boxster which is moving out of my garage next month. It's taken a while, but I think I am getting used to the stillen flywheel that was installed on this car. It really makes the revs jump when I touch the gas pedal. The high flow cats are on order so I can pass emissions. Next up is tires and engine management!

Aw man, bad images of moustaches! For those of you who have Gran Turismo 4, just think of the default front plate on that car in the game. It's the same plate as the one on this car.

Actually, the Boxster is coming off of a lease. I have to admit the Boxster is easier to control at the limit than most cars, but I haven't had a chance to drift the Z yet. I'll get back to you on that in the future. Steering feel, I haven't driven a car that can match the Boxster. I also prefer the brake feel in the Boxster. It's a very expensive car to maintain though and I need to drive another sports car while I'm waiting for my girlfriend (future wife) to graduate. Then, I will probably decide between a GT-R or used 911 turbo/GT3. Also, if you look at all of my posts, one of them discusses that I'm trying out all of the drivetrains. Here's a short list:

1996 850 Turbo (FF)
2001 Audi S4 (AWD)
2002 Porsche Boxster (MR)
2003 350Z (FR)
911, hopefully someday (RR)

This is a bit of a common sentiment. I've read magazine articles that give the edge to the Z over the Boxster. And if you've ever seen the Best Motoring video, you've seen the Z (and a few other cars) humiliate the Boxster on a road racing track.

This is a little bit of a stretch - but not that much - check out how the Z did in the most recent Grand-Am Cup event... against 911's, and assorted other premium brand sports cars.

http://www.grandamerican.com/Events/...?SessionID=540

Granted, that Z did much better than normal, but if you watch this racing series you know how competitive the Z is.
