Default Security+Plus Service Agreement

So I got sucker into buying this Service Agreement by a high pressure finance guy at a local dealership (not naming the dealership). I just read over the agreement and it doesn't really cover jack. Basicly it only covers "Mechanical Breakdown" whatever that mean It also had roadside assitance benefits (towing, roadside assistant, trip interrupption service) bunch of crap I don't really need since I'm already a AAA member already.

I'm thinking I probably won't keep my car more than 3 years. So Nissan basic coverage should protect me from any mechanical breakdown. Any reasons you guys think I should keep the Security+Plus? I have 10 days left to cancel and get a full refund minus cancellation fee and processing fee which comes to $260 (damn bastards such a ripoff ).

And save me the "you should've read the fine print before signing bullcrap." Like I said the finance guy used some high pressure tactic..he should be selling cars instead. He's damn good.

You answered your question right there. Cancel and get your refund ASAP. Complete ripoff if you're not going to keep your car for the long haul.

Don't feel too bad jdpdata. The finance guys bring in more money in a month than the salesmen do in a year. They are the true "adversaries" in the car buying process.
If it is of any comfort, the "warranty" may transfer when you go to sell it.
So then you can do the same sales job to the dealer when you trade it in!

Thanks for the advice guys. I'm cancelling it tomorrow. Does this means my finance company will get the refund and I'll pay off my car sooner? They can't change my sales contract (ie raise interest rates, change payment terms) in anyways because I cancel my service agreement?
