Sad part is, if it was me and the boss offered me a free detail, I would have to turn it down. I just don't trust anyone washing my cars.

+2. Again, with all due respect, no thanks. However, just put a little extra in the Pay Envelope, Boss, and I'll get it done soonest!

I was driving on campus in March and my Z was nice and clean. Girl on the corner asked if I needed a car wash (fundraising). How about I pay to use your car wash equipment?

+whatever. Nobody but me washes my car, especially a mobile detailer who probably isn't using generous amounts of water and soap to keep things lubricated. It might look good now, but the long term effects of neglectful washing (however well-intentioned) can be disastrous.

Nice thought though. I'd never expect that from my boss.

That's one helluva generous Boss!! NOW THAT'S a way a GOOD Boss motivates his employees! My old boss just used to give me $20 gift certificates to MF Olive Garden or Applebee's (BARF )

Kudos to him for "thinking out of the box", although I can see some people's point about the quality of work (or maybe lack thereof) done by a mobile detailer. Especially if it's 1 or 2 detailers doing 20+ cars in a parking lot and trying to get the job done quickly

How good of a job did they do?? Any scratches in the super-high quality Z Paint

....BTW what kind of company do you work for??

Same here. Just like if someone gave me a free car wash as a gift. Trust no one including dealerships is my motto.

That's a pretty nice thing for him to do though, even though I wouldn't trust them to wash my car either. I'd watch them do it and correct them if they did things wrong, .

Damn straight, I'd never have anyone else touch my car, no matter how good they are in detailing. That's a cool a$$ boss though, then again maybe he should hook it up with a raise instead... lol
