Default farewell all

I'll still be doing powdercoating for folks and checking in from time to time, but the Z went away today and was replaced with a C6 corvette. Say what you want about the price and quality, but I was having belt problems with the stillen and had the car 3 years, so it was time. Plus, the C6 outperforms the Stillen stage 3 any day.

what color did you get?

1SB? Z51?

are you going to be on corvetteforum.com?

im M_C6 over there
thanks! probably will, hadn't even found that one yet. I joined Z06forums yesterday, because I thought I was going to buy a used Z06, but I had to look at new ones first, and that did it. The '03 Z06 had chips in the hood, a broken key and some messed up carpet, and it just didn't do it for me.

probably, but compared to my car, 12.87 on slicks vs. 12.6 stock out of the box, I'm definitely moving up, performance wise. Now let the modding begin!

I traded it in with everything on it. got an awesome deal, right at where I wanted to sell it privately.

Bubble, I can coat a plenum. Actually have 2 stock plenums in my garage at the moment, although they are uncoated.

Congrats! Enjoy the new car. Oh, and I doubt you got what you wanted to sell your car for private party. They just took off some of the profit they were making on the vette to show you what you wanted from your trade. But, that's still money you aren't paying for the car, .

Dude.... I was pricing the C6 ZO6 in our area and Edmunds had the true market value at 71k. I love that car. The C6 looks great and performs better. Best replacement in a reasonable price range in my opinion. Nice work!

I really thought you could not trade-in a Stillen Z. I've had problem with my Stillen Z forever, and I would like to trade-up for a Vette... Is that possible? Will they take in a modified Z, without killing the price of it?

Although it is sad to hear that you no longer have the Z...congrats on your new ride!

So...what will be your first powdercoating project on this bad boy? Calipers?
