My SilverStone is HERE!!
After what seem like a LONG wait! I saw my VIN number showing up on inventory at my dealership on Monday. Got a call from the Dealership yesterday saying the car was on the lot.
Went down to the dealership today to finalize paperwork etc. Even tho I had an agreement for MSRP sale, the financing paperwork still took a good part of a few hours to complete. I had 3 financing options available to me independant of the dealership, but dealership actually came up with a better lease deal for me.
I made two stops on the way home and let me tell you, it was a nerve wrecking experience :-\ At both stores, I could not stop worrying about someone messing with the car.
First Impression:
1) Love the power....very linear.
2) Some may complaint about the ride, but coming from a Miata, the Z is quiet and a lot more substantial.
3) The short throw shifting is very precise and feels great as I push into each gear.
4) I need a cargo net, stuff rolls around all over in the back.
5) BOSE volume up and down is horrible. Will have to take it in to get it fixed.
6) My dead padel seems to creak and shifts just a little, another minor warranty item to take care of.
7) While the Miata handles very lightly like a go-kart. The Z is in a whole other league, very precise!!
All in all, it has been a very tiring and full filling day.
P.S. If you haven't gotte it yet. The thrill of getting my Z hasn't quite sunk in yet :-p
