lol its nice to have a hot car, its a major boost in many social situations... got alot of weird looks in the parking lot from dad's and their visiting children to my school lol. Like those "stay away from my daughter u rich lil *****!" looks (even though i worked my *** off to buy the car me self)

Yeah I pick the older Daughter up 1st so she can walk the dogs while I am picking up my younger Daughter,or I get them at the same time and hope I don’t get pulled over.

Or I use my Explorer.

I used to use my Civic (kinda high-maintenance filter if you will) on the first date then surprise her a couple weeks later with a special treat (a ride in the Z). Furthermore, the Z is a lifestyle so often it will come up in conversation anyway when talking about myself.

The bottom line is: This car can be used as a good tool to pick up all kinds of girls. Just use it wisely and don't rely on it solely.

My friends and I were assigning percentages to LOOKS - PERFORMANCE - CHICK-MAGNET

For myself...
LOOKS = 30%
PERFORMANCE = 60%
CHICK-MAGNET = 10%

My friend (2005 BMW 540)
LOOKS = 15%
PERFORMANCE = 25%
CHICK-MAGNET = 60%

And he has no problem with getting a chick!

it was funny when I was buying my z at this dealership last year...
this dealer was asking me if I was living by myself and gonna pay off the car on my own since I went to the dealer by myself and I was pretty young...
so I said ''yea I am working and paying off my own rent and stuff'' and he was like ''damn...you must get a lot of pussies...'' and even funnier thing he said was ''i guarantee you will get a lot more pussies after you get this car'' lol

Honestly, I bought is on its mechanical virtues. Ultimately the style of the Z helped me to select the Z over the STi, my other choice so there is the definately the aesthetic appeal of the Z. Still, I've noticed something that I really didn't expect or count on: People dig this car! It is amazing how many people, male and female turn there heads when I go cruise downtown. Many are unfamiliar with the car and assume that the car costs over $50K. At least in my experience..

the car is styled very aggressively and has a princely look with it...
it looks like a car that would cost 40 thousand dollar or even more
proly the most princely car ya can get for around 30k, sti or evo completely look like boy racers with a big wing, the s2000 is just as good but ya might not get as much respect in that... rx-8 = ~_~... ya wont get this kind of attention if ya get a bmw 325 or an audi a4 or merc C230/240. 350Z puts a person just subpar to the corvette and ///M3 territory lol...
all IMO

It is a budget sports car. Don't think it looks like one. Even everyday people see it as a great looking car. If it looked like a budget sports car, then I wouldnt always get "Is that a porsche." Then I am proud to say "NOPE it's a nissan". <--kidding about the last part

But back to your question, you would probably need to drive a Ferrari, Aston Martin, Bentley, or Lambo to pick up girls. The truth is too many people are into bling but don't actually have the means to live that type of life. I mean, pretty much anyone can buy a 350Z, M3, etc etc. You see that everyday - some dude in an Escalade with rims "trying" to sell the image that he is wealthy. But realistically, anyone can do that, just spend 60k ( his year's salary) on a car and live in a trailer park...Escalade in trailer park...meaning...his car is worth as much as his house ( if he actually owns the house).

But driving a 150k+ car....that's going to be hard for an average Joe to pull off. He can't just fake that.

Yeah that's very true. Most people just wanna finance/lease a car that they want. I wonder how many actually shell out the full money for it. The hip hop community has increased the demand for the Escalade so much for young people... but the Escalade is 60k+ if you add options and tax in most areas! I mean honestly... how many people in the US even earn 60k a year?

Yes for those who are young and own the car, regardless of whether you bought it yourself or your parents did, (My parents did so I HATE bragging about it... and everytime people ask I try to change the subject) you are quite fortunate to be driving it! There is no reason to feel jealous of 17 year olds driving a friggin 911... because those people are truly 1 in a million!

The same price of the Z is a 325I or add 1000 dollars 325CI with leatherette seating (EWwwww!!!!) and no options. Thats NOT a car to be proud of besides the badge... The badge is everything...
