Default SO Sad, had to say goodbye to the Z.

Recent moving in with girlfreind, major knee surgery(hosptal bills, surgery cost, physical therapy, etc.) , purchase of bed and couch, and other various bills have "forced" me to part with the Z and have to get a lowly, yet reliable, Honda Civic. I still want to cry about not driving the Z anymore. It was the best daily driver in this city and almost always turned heads. The custom plates and DVD/Cd/XM radio/TV/everything else head unit and subs just won't look as good in the Civic. One day I will own a Z or better again. I promise. Pics for such a dreadful event are needed:

(not custom plates)

Well, I sadly had to do a trade in with the dealership. I got about 21500 for it. I would like to have gotten more but that is more then KBB so not too bad. I at least bet my audeio video equipment back.

I will stick around as well as I love the Z. Once bills are taken care of and I have more money, it's back to the Z, with TT of course.

I was actually the second owner. First was a dealer from Fargo, ND and I got it with about 4200 miles on it. I realy hate the fact the BY is a hard to come by color and I got a lot of people saying how the like or love it.

BY....at least you can find it in the snow. LOL! I'm sure it'll end up in someone's hands who will take good care of it.

Yes and no. It's new as in no other owner but not the new 06 models coming out. Those look very nice. I just reached the 100 mile mark yesterday. It's a Black 2005 Honda Civic but downside is it's a value package. No power windows or locks. Man do I miss the fun stuff I had in the Z.

Default Sorry to hear that you hade to get rid of the 350Z...

but it’ll be OK. You have years ahead to get back in the Z-saddle again. I’ve driven the 350Z for 20 months, and met plenty of fellow 350Z drivers. The car is great, but the drivers are way cool. The driver makes the car, the car does not make the driver. You can get a new care later, but you can't get new knees.

While you’re laid up and your lady friend is bringing you breakfast in bed, the 350Z won't seem as important as it once was.

The good news is it looks like 06 will have a brickyard-like color. So hopefully you will be able to get the same color, just newer

Just as an interesting factoid, North Dakota is the #1 rarest license plate to see in Cali. Hawaii, Maine, Alaska, Vermont, New Hampshire, I've seen more of any of those than ND...
