I will not buy a black car again. Maintenance is like having a part-time job. It does not help that it is monsoon season here so it has been raining dirty sandy liquid crap all over the car.
I wish I would have gotten PPW.
Grass is always greener, eh...

CS is prolly the easiest to keep clean and shiny. And it looks so sweet under city night lights.
My first choice for the longest time was actually SB.
What finally sold me on CS was an episode of MotorWeek, they had a CS touring in Goss' Garage and the way the light bounced off the fenders... The color reminded me of the original 240Z's which also were offered in that color. So I guess heritage came into play, too.
Third choice was PPW and fourth choice was DSO...
Never liked the other colors too much.

After having SB on my maxima, I was prepared for the amount of work that I would need to put into keeping my car clean and shiny, as well as protected. So no, no regrets...
I always keep that bottle of Z-6 handy for bird crap, after my maxima was almost totally destroyed by pigeons and seagulls...
Despite that, I found a very happy customer to buy it from me. Having low miles kicks ****!

I dont regret buying SB for one second. Not one. Especially on days when the sun is shining and the Z6 is glistening.
I have no problems with the part time maintenence and my car is an outside daily driver in the rainy summer we've had. Couple times a week I spend 10 minutes with a cali duster and Z6. Thats it. I guess if I had a color car that didnt show it as much, I would always be thinking that that crap is building up on the paint, I just cant see it. Out of sight, out of mind? Guess I would rather see it and know its time for a wipedown.

I work at a Toyota dealership, and a client of mine traded in a Daytona Blue...at the time, I was looking for a G35C, but I took this out for the weekend, and I took one glance at it, and it fell in love with it and had plan to buy it...and come the next day, the dude backed out of the deal, I had to give that car back to him, and it made me so freaking mad...I was gonna buy that car for a STEAL...damn.....so a few days later, I went out and bought me a white one....that blue one made me fall in love with the car and driving it that weekend made me want that Z...and after that dude took the car back, all I wanted was a Z...nothing else....even if someone had given a G35C, I woulda traded it in for a Z....so a few days later, I went out and saw a white one...I bought it right away...hahaha....no regret at all...I've always had a dark colored car, and this was my first white one...i've always loved the pearl white...so I'm so glad I got it...haha....the only other color I would have wanted was the yellow....

I wanted the DB (or the new yellow), but I got hooked on a chrome silver. Ironically, I have always been down on any silver or charcoal colored cars... now I am driving one.
The chrome silver is as beautiful a silver as I have ever seen, kinda looks like a solid block of metal. Goes good with the light grey leather interior.
Ya gotta wonder if they will ever bust out a green color option...

My ZR is SB, and a real pain in the *** to maintain. Do I regret the decision to buy SB? No-the car looks beautiful when polished and waxed. Would I buy nissan SB again? No-the paint seems too "soft" and way too susceptible to scratching that shows too much on SB.
RED next time.
