Default So will it be worth it to get the 06 Nismo Z???

I just viewed the 06 Z commercial and wondered, is it worth it to just trade my 04 back in and get the Nismo version 06? The only driving force in that decision would be if Nissan fully covers all of the Nismo parts under their full warranty. If they dont, than I will just be better off buying the parts my self at cheaper than wholesale and forgetting the warranty anyways....No to mention, I plan on going FI
What do you guys think?

if u plan on going FI, what do u care about Nissan's warranty, u will no longer have coverage anyway

if u were to keep the car stock than it makes sense buying through Nissan, id put that saved cash towards the FI

i didnt know nissan will offer an official "nismo Z"....what nismo parts willl it come with? i am assuming it will come with the "S-tune" parts only, not the "R-tune" parts....in which case the dealer will charge an arm/leg for them and will not be worth it, imo

I bought my z with all the nismo stuff on it from the dealership on an enthusiast edition. it was only $34,000 w/ with everything installed by them. granted, I didn't buy the wheels/tires or the exhaust at the dealership (was originally gonna go HKS, but then decided on the nismo anyways and installed it myself) but if you add in those items at, lets say, $4K (they should knock it down a bit if you let them keep the factory stuff, though) and you're about $38K total. If you were to want it on a track model though, (which is what a japanese s-tune is based on) expect it to kick up another $4K.

*edit* And it is all covered on the full 3 yr 36,000 mi bumper to bumper warranty of the car if you have it in the contract at the time of delivery. Also, since the car was purchased that way, your insurance should cover all the "mods" since technically, you are stock.

IMO it depends on what they're selling it for

so far most nismo parts are way overpriced so I could see the nismo Z (if there really is one) going for like $40k - which would be rediculous.

IMO the new US nismo side skirts and rear spoiler are ugly. The JDM style was better

THe nismo version is sweet but I wouldn't get one just because, even though it's more unique than a regular Z it's still gonna have bunches of copies that are the same. I'd rather customize my car myself.
