I have been to many shows here. Other than my years in Germany when I was at the frankfurt show, or some of the Milan shows, it all seems to be the same. Might be different in the UK tho. I know around here and when I wa sin germany theft was never a problem. Crime here as unbelievably low

I will find a magazine from one of the stands and scan some of the pictures. Its a big difference between what americans invision as European style, and the way they really do it over here.

Dont like spoilers, OEM lip spoiler is nice and has the subtle look, I wouldnt go with anything else. I think big spoilers just add weight because rarely anyone goes at speeds where downforce makes up for the weight added.

No spoiler, not even OEM style. I think it ruins the lines of the Z. Hey, but to each his own.

When I say European lines, I meant the stock cars, not the heavily modded golfs.

I don't consider the 350Z in the class of volkswagon/bmw/audi/saab LOOKS-WISE. We just have more sportier lines.

Here are examples of European lines (rear end):

Now as a disclaimer: I AM NOT PLACING THE 350Z IN THE ABOVE CLASS OF CARS. I just posted those links to show you my love for what I meant by European lines.

I cant tell you how many m3's, m5's i see driving around slammed to the ground with a horrible sounding exhaust and light covers.

I love european cars but the european aftermarket scene over here isnt as good as I expected.

OEM or Nismo are the only ones I would put on the Z.

YES THOSE ARE NICE LINES. I didnt think you were talking about those type of lines on european cars. The guy was talking about wings and all so I thought you ment the european way of modding. I love lambo, but I am a ferrari type of guy. Wife hates when I slow down driving past the ferrari dealership, factory, or just one sitting somewhere.

I like how subtle my stock spoiler is. I wouldn't go with any sort of big spoiler at all unless I was actually racing it and it was a functional one, .

It's a half-way house of compromise between the smooth look and the winged look!

Beauty.

Who makes that spoiler and what type of kit is your car wearing? Looks very very nice!!

I have to agree with Nick,

Aside from the top-dollar exotics, the tuning culture in Germany and most of Europe leave alot to be desired. I believe in Italy you have to some sort of permit or registration with the automotive ministry JUST to put on aftermarket parts like wheels and such.

The UK is a different lot though. I'd say their subculture is a little more daring and most of the time, tastefully done. Especially since they get some great Japanese imports. (R34's, FQ400's, Z's, and STi's)

<~~~~ Originally from Belgium btw.

And to the thread starter: I like the clean lines of the Z as well, but it at least needs the OEM lip. The car just looks so bare without it, unless you're modded with aggressive wheels and are making a statement, then that's something else.

Better lines than BMW's? ummm.. maybe the large, heffer luxury sedans.. but their sporier cars have incredible style. From the lines of the body, to the headlight designs, to the oem rims, to the interior, to the .. ok I'll stop. I'm new to posting on any forums besides BMW boards

Jeebus, I knew this would happened >_<;; and that's why I made sure to say that I don't think they are in the same class looks-wise as in they are two different looking cars.

I'm just saying the 350Z exterior design does not look close to the exterior designs of the volkswagon/bmw/audi/saab/subarui. I am NOT saying those cars exteriors are a bad design.

I would think my original post made that really clear so to avoid a reply like this one.

I'm seriously thinking about taking off my OEM spoiler. Everytime I see a Z I like it has no spoiler on it and I like the clean lines... I just don't want to have some nasty scar on the back of the car when I take it off.
