Default No spoiler on my 350Z

Am I the only one that thinks the 350Z looks awsome without a spoiler? I love the Euroupean lines and I think putting a spoiler in the back of my Z will ruin the back.

I plan on putting on:

1. JP visages type B lip and skirts:
http://www.vizages.com/imgProducts/21_1.jpg

2. and the do-luck rear bumper.
http://www.tunerzine.com/articles/20...s/DSC_0178.jpg

But I personally think putting any spoiler on the 350Z ruins the Lines of the car.

And it's just not the Z, when my friend bought the RSX, he bought a body kit and lowered it and it looked orgasmic. I was so glad he didn't put a spoiler on it. It would have ruined the slick look.

What do you guys think? Am I the only one that think the 350Z looks awsome the way it is without a spoiler?

There are a few people that would agree with you. matter of opinion I guess. I personally like only the stock spoiler. I love the way it looks. Its not big and in your face by any means. I also feel like at 147 mph my little spoiler is giving me a little bit of down force. Prob in my head but it gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling and thats all that matters. BEN

If I did have to choose a spoiler, the only one I like is the nismo spoiler. but again, I personally think my Z looks great without a spoiler.

And I agree with you, It is a matter of opinion. I have a vision of what my car will look like (I gave the body kits link) and that vision does not involve a spoiler.

Same here. Thats why I went with the carbon fiber OEM spoiler since my car didn't come with one. As for you kit choices I feel that will ruin the car way more than the spoiler. I didn't realize the Europeans all put JDM kits on their cars.

Cool

Have Nismo spoiler SB. To me it looks sharp. Good stability over 100 MPH.

I think the Z looks real good w/o any spoiler, or at most, just the OEM spoiler. I've never been a big fan of those big a$$ wings so many cars sport.

I guess I should have mention that too. I really don't consider the OEM spoiler on the track a spoiler. When I say spoiler, I mean the ones that has air going though the middle of it. etc.

IMO, Nissan nailed the design as is. No interest in a spoiler of any type.

I wasn't a fan of any of the bigger winged spoilers but wanted a much more subtle wing, so I went with this one :

It's a half-way house of compromise between the smooth look and the winged look!

As someone living in Europe for 5 years i will add my opinion on the European lines look. Europeans have no clue when it comes to making a car look nice (from an american standpoint). They consider a hooked up car to be a 2000 golf with deep dish 16's, slammed to the ground with DTM angled exhaust, and purple tint.

I cant tell you how many m3's, m5's i see driving around slammed to the ground with a horrible sounding exhaust and light covers.

I love european cars but the european aftermarket scene over here isnt as good as I expected.

Its possible. But Its EXTREMElY rare to see a nicely moddified car here. I remmeber in highschool wanting to get euro everything for my car. Then I came over here and I dont see the amazing cars. If you go to a performance shop here they all sell the same things, Momo seats, momo steering wheels, seatpad shoulder pads, racing pedals, and any color headlights you could ever want. And as far as systems go. I had a Porsche will 3 JL 12's in it and people thought it was the most amazing thing in the world.

At audio shops they sell mainly 8's or 10's and they are walmart quality.

There are exceptions of course

No, it's a sweeping statement!

There's a huge gulf between those cars that are rolling around on the streets and those that are taken to shows. To be honest, most modifiers in Europe don't put the good cars out there as daily drivers; as vandalism, theft, and general abuse is rife with nice modded cars. They're sat in garages most of the time.

Get yourself to a show to see the good stuff, and then review your opinion!
