It can't hurt to get a lawyer, especially if there are any injuries. Even if the other driver doesn't have insurance, still get a lawyer. Trust me on this...it PAYS to have a lawyer.

take it through the insurance, if you have a good company, they will take care of everything and youll get your money. get a lawyer if youre injured and want to make some cash and/or the ins. company isnt on your side.

I recalled with my previous accident, it was not a clear cut case, and the other side tried to make me tell the story that they want to hear. They kept on calling me, but luckily, I had a lawyer that time.
