lol i'm from s2ki =)
s2000 is rated everywhere, car&driver, automobilemag, motortrend etc etc. to be faster 0-60 than 350z. And also its rated better driving experience than 350z... Top gear still prefers the s2000. oh.. also it is 5.2 seconds.. just people dont know how to drive doesnt mean the optimum figure isnt there...
s2000 is not a girlie car its a car to get laid in
lol bestmotoring video... thats just another Z propaganda films lol... just like they had the s2000 videos to show how great they are...
mmm... btw i drive a 350Z =)

Whats with the people saying the s2000 is faster if you rev it to 6000 rpm when launching... why wouldn't you think the 350Z could rev to say 2000-3000 rpm for a good launch as well?

uh 5.2???....try 5.6....
the reality of it is this.....who keeps there car bone stock?....most people I know have an intake, exhaust,headers...or atleast a k&n drop in filter. Yes it may only be good for 2-10 hp....but that can mean the difference between a tie...and a consistant pull away.

s2000's are beefed up civics in my perspective. Everyone knows that the s2 would lose hands down to a Z from a stop; but when i raced it from a roll (s2 starting in first at 30mph and my Z starting in 2nd) it still lost. Honestly, the thing needs a sc very badly. Fun car though, they look slick as hell. Id love to drive one for a bit, but not over a Z.

I mean really, if you need to drop the clutch at a ridiculous rpm to get the better 0-60 speed, then REALISTICALLY, the Z is the faster car.

Now in perspective, its all about tastes. Obviously, this being my350z.com, people are going to the like the Z.

Actually no, in racing situation it doesnt matter if ya drop the clutch at 6000. Its a race. Daily cruising no one cares how fast a car is, if ya have a ferrari ya still got to drive speed limit dont ya? lol

s2000 is no way acne rattled teen type of sports car
an EVO or an STI would be an acne rattled teen street racer with big wing and bodykit and a hood vent. a beefed up civic doesnt have rwd, doesnt have world class (2nd in the world) in convertible rigidity, doesnt have supercar level of hp/L calling s2k a civic is just ignorant. A RSX is a beefed up civic.
Of course im in Z territory and i am an owner of a 350Z lol
but i have to defend my love at first sight =)

They’re both sport cars,
They’re pretty much evenly matched performance wise,
They’re both fun to drive,

Pick one
Drive it,
Enjoy it…

Its not fair, S2000's come with better oem tires, RE050's vss our crappy RE040's, j/k but seriously i wonder how our cars would benchmark both had same max performance tires. Tires do make a big difference in handling in my book.

s2000 is NOT a civic but with a no compromise engine designed to offer mad fun around the circuit.
