I see in your sig you wanted SS but could only get CS...

if you ask me, you should've waited for the 06's. Always get your favorite color or you will live to regret it!

You joined the forum in May, and have a 350Z in your driveway in August. I like your style.

When you get a chance, post you first driving impressions: I’m a sucker for a love story.

Exactly...I'm wagering he placed at least 100 miles on the car today.

Hearing about people getting their Zs reminds me when I got mine. It showed up on a truck that was just leaving as I got home from school. My heart almost exploded when I saw that.

Ok so lets see...My impression. Sorry about 3 posts i just read a post at a time.

I got in. Pushed the clutch in, turned the key.. rawrrrr. Damn it sounds sweet.
First thing i noted, glovebox is in a bad place, but i never go to the glovebox so doesn't matter. Second thing.. the interior isn't as bad as all thoe mags say. I like it, cept teh crappy stereo sticks out too much. 3rd thing... i noted i suck at driving stick but after 400 miles im getting better.
I started going out and going slow. I liked how the car wasn't as rough as i'd imagined, however it still hugged the ground. Im a sucker for track-performance. I dont need power as much as i'd like amaazing brakes and well tuned suspension. I felt that the car was balanced non-the-less. Almost felt as if the driver side had higher suspension than passanger side to compensate for driver weight.
Power wise the car's 1st and low 2nd gears are too short. I havn't rev'd past 4K yet but anything after 2500 is a blast. The transmission makes funky noises but i've never driven a RWD car so i wouldnt know what to compare it to. It goes through gears quick and it chirps when i shift quick, i like .
Mileage sucks so far. When shifting quick i get about 17MPG. My parents maxima gets 21.6 so i was hoping maybe 20 or 21. When cruising at a constant 50 or 60 though, i get better mpg than the maxima..at around 35. I also feel that 6th gear is not needed.
The looks of the car are beautiful. I'm not too fond of the headlights yet, but from the rear the car looks Brazilian (wink wink). I feel it needs to be lowered and the amber needs to be darkened... On CS it looks too crazy.

Yeah, the JWT's awesome. I recommend doing the things I've got in my sig (not biased at all, ) but the plenum spacer is sweet and the test pipes make it a little raspy but louder and good sounding at higher RPM's. I like my mods, just wish those damn test pipes weren't so raspy!
