July 29, 2005, is the day I purchased my Z. I live in Chicago and there's no way I'm going to drive her during the winter (November-March). It's in the shop right now due to a minor accident. I'll probably get her back sometime before the end of September. So I drive her one month and garage it for five? This is ridiculous.
Question: Was I foolish to purchase a 2005 model? I could have waited just a little longer for the 2006 model. Or should I have waited until next year after winter.
I strongly regret purchasing a brand new Z. $35,000 isn't cheap. The value of my car is depreciating as I post this thread.
Then again, I plan on selling this car before it reaches 100,000 miles or within 2-3 years (I drive a lot). So maybe I should just "drive it like I stole it," even in the winter?
Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

hey man, it doesn't matter how much or how little you drive the car...You bought the car because you dig it....i'd say drive it as much as u can, and don't garage it u know? i mean u bought it to have fun w/ it so u should drive it as much as possible...It's a great car and i know you'll have fun driving it...Don't regret **** bro!
Work with what you've got. Chicago winters can be harsh. With snow on the ground, most 350Z drivers leave the car at home. Some have a suitable alternative vehicle, while some take a bus to work.
"post purchase anxiety" You have a common psycho/marketing problem.
