I don't know why they are still a forum sponsor. From all the negative threads about this vendor, they should be removed and banned from this forum. I've seen nothing but complaints from forum members and frankly, I think the admins at this site are negligent in not removing them.

I think the fact of the matter is that IPDG (as they have demonstrated time and time again) does not care to fix whatever problems exist in their supply and delivery processes. All of the ISO certification jargon on the planet won't fix their problem because while the occasional supplier issue may arise, the other vendors here probably deal with the same suppliers yet don't seem to have the same issues. That clearly (in my mind) points to an in-house problem which most will say is lack of organization or just plain lack of concern to conduct business with any level of professionalism, for whatever reason.

so many issue from this vendor and in the past, mod was standing behind and protect for them because they're the big money source for the site. I remember one MOD in here lecture me about how they can't get rid of this vendor...6 months later, i guess we have more vendors advertise now so dropping this one wouldn't hurt.

After all, money is still the priority here. Member get screw by this kind of vendor, respond from the mod/admin: so what? you should be more carefull when you buy from it.

this is the quote from KCobean

To say it as simply as possible, my350z.com is an advertising medium for any company that wishes to pay for the service. It is not the role of the forum to then police the services of those vendors any more than it is your local TV station's to police the actions of it's paying advertisers (again, as long as those actions are LEGAL).

But just so you feel vindicated, apparently (and the admins have more information that I do) this advertiser is going away for two reasons, one being the unheard of number of complaints that reflect poorly not only on the vendor, but potentially on the site and the other vendors as well. The other is a little more complicated, and not for discussion here. Let's just say that certain business factors came full circle on these guys.

Remember that in the end, I'm a member here too, and I don't like getting hosed any more than you do. I just feel it's important to remember all of the variables in play before you start throwing stones, which is something that you refuse to do. Even if I weren't a moderator, my position on this issue would be the same.

One last thought, I never "lectured you" as you say, but simply tried to shed light on a perspective that you clearly don't see. Additionally, it's not a matter of "more vendors now, so we can afford to lose one", it's a matter of doing what's best for all the parties that have a stake in the game.

But the owners of this site do decide who is and who is not privilaged to do business on their forums correct? No one "forces" them to allow every vendor be a vendor?

kcobean, it wasn't you that lecture. Someone else and i couldn't go back and search for it. I still find it is funny how you put it as: "NOT the responsibility of this site to ensure that advertisers conduct themselves professionally." If that is the case then why kick them off now? I mean you guy can ban member left and right for certain reason and still let this vendor stay here until now to scam money out of the member that support this site. Put it this way, if we don't come here any more, this forum will be a death place, how do you get the money from vendor? it is 2 ways support. Remember that. That just make me wonder if you are the owner of this forum then we will expect to see more vendor like this? you just close your eye and say it's not your responsibility? common man.

YES....You're EXACTLY right. Thank you....somebody gets it. (Right about now you're going, "huh, what, I do?" )

So here's the question....If your goal as a forum owner is to make money supporting LEGAL commerce while providing a free service to the community, what criteria should you use to determine who is and isn't allowed to advertise? Answer that question as a business owner, not as a forum member. I'm going to guess that you wouldn't put "advertiser customer satisfaction" very high on that list, if at all, because a) it's out of your control, b) it's impossible to accurately track, and c) it's really none of your concern unless it becomes apparent that the advertiser is conducting illegal activities. Doesn't that seem pretty logical to you?

Again, I don't have the authority to speak about why this action has been taken now, so I won't. Let's just leave it at "business matters that are not directly consumer related" are at play.

I mean you guy can ban member left and right for certain reason and still let this vendor stay here until now to scam money out of the member that support this site.
Members get banned for not following the Terms of Use agreement. Vendors probably don't sign such an agreement (though I don't handle that transaction, so I'm not a voice of authority there), at least not one that obligates them to conduct their sales in a way defined by this forum's owner. I could see them agreeing to conduct themselves *on this forum* in a certain fashion, but I can't see ANY business agreeing to run their operation according to some agreement with my350z.com.... Can you? Not a snowballs chance.

Put it this way, if we don't come here any more, this forum will be a death place, how do you get the money from vendor? it is 2 ways support. Remember that.
You are absolutely right....Companies advertise here for exposure. No users = no advertisers = no revenue. But remember that this site doesn't have members because it has advertisers, it has advertisers because it has members, and in that regard, it's one way support. It's the content of the site that makes this the biggest Z forum on the net. It's also the content that keeps people here. For example, you are one of the more vocal folks on this whole vendor service issue, and yet I see that you're a premier member. If I were the owner, I might use that to gauge how serious an issue this whole thing really is to you. See my point? You're here because this is a great site, though maybe not perfect in your eyes. Now I'm certainly not challenging you to pack up and find another forum to hang out on...that's the last thing I want. I'm just trying to flip the coin and provide alternate perspective as "food for thought".

That just make me wonder if you are the owner of this forum then we will expect to see more vendor like this? you just close your eye and say it's not your responsibility? common man.
LOL.... I'm not the owner....I wish I was, because the owner has several exotics in his garage.

I hope after reading all this, you can start to see why I believe that it is not the responsibility of this forum to police the vendors. Allowing the community to warn each other is as far as it should go, and even that is a tricky line to walk because of the conflict of interest.

Anyway, this is all just discussion, and I think we, as members have seen a good thing happen. Let's hope that this is the end of these kinds of posts and get on with being Brothers of the Z.

Peace.

I find you response IRONIC and absurdly funny..What I do get from your post is bottom line it comes down to $$$$$$$$..
Yet some time ago I made SEVERAL requests to this site and 350 motoring to become a vendor and was told "My attitude was improper" and I would NEVER be a vendor on this site..So your response contradicts what I have personally seen on this and other forums..
I as a business owner can relate to 350Forums, and do see things get blown WAY out of proportion on the internet all the time.It seems like everyone grows a set behind the anonymity of the internet. One thing I pride myself on is I have a set 24/7 online and offline, Ill call it like I see it to anyones face, thats just how I am.Some people mistake me for "rude and obnoxious" I simpy thank them and be myself..
I personally had a bad incident with David from 350forums but that was a long time ago and it did get blown way out of proportion on both ends.I continue to do business with 350forums all the time and never had one problem since that time with them..The always give us great wholesale prices and deliver on time.It just seem sometimes as a business owner you need to admit to the customer you dropped the ball and take a hit on the sale..I prefer to make the customer feel special cause one pissed off customer will affect your sales more than 100 happy ones..people only hear the bad stuff..So for 350forums to do say SEVERAL thousand online sales, with customers all over the country, selling products that come from Japan and always get delayed and dealing with other flakey companies all the time, and have a few online horror stories is not entirely uncommon..You can not please EVERYONE all the TIME..I think sometimes in business, thing happen and you need to just step back and say "you know what dued, I messed up" and make good for it...Customers love free stuff and it makes them feel special..I remember one time Jeff at performance gave me a wrong tracking number on a package two times, and in return for the inconvienince sent me a free NISMO Radiator cap AND oil cap...That man will get my vote as the absolute BEST PERSON I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH in this industry, and mark my words, he will go far in this industry on his reputation alone.
Bottom line is 350forums did not SCAM anyone out of money, they simply need to work on their customer service a bit and make mad customers happy ones..Give them a chance, they will deliver, they always did us right..

You find my response absurdly funny and ironic, and yet you go on to agree with basically everything I've said in my posts....those things are:

1. This forum is a business, and the owner of this business is not wronging anybody by allowing other businesses to advertise here, as long as those businesses are not knowingly doing anything illegal. That said, OF COURSE it's about the money. For most people this is a place to come and learn and socialize FOR FREE, so it's real easy to jump up and down on the moral pedestal and tell the owner what to do when he is in fact not doing anything wrong in the first place.
2. You're absolutely right, sometimes delays happen in business, but if the same numbers of delays/mistakes were happening to all of the vendors who advertise here, we'd see these types of posts for all of them, but we don't.
3. It is definitely better to admit your mistakes to your customers, make them happy and move on. This is clearly not a practice that 350zforums subscribes to. They choose to just stop answering correspondence for as long as possible until they can actually tell you they've shipped your product. It's bad business for sure, but illegal it's not. That's all really besides the point though.
4. I've said this in EVERY POST.....350zforums can be accused of poor customer service, NOT scamming people....just as you've stated. That said, their conduct (at least regarding the complaints we've seen thus far on the forum) does not indicate illegal activity, so what's the issue?
5. This is just my speculation, but here's my take on you and vendor status. If you read my earlier post, there probably is an expectation regarding vendor behavior *on the forum*, playing nice with other vendors, etc. You seem like a pretty "in your face" kinda guy, which you take as a compliment, but you've made your own bed, and now you must sleep in it. If the site leadership can't trust you to not upset other vendors, then you are a negative impact to the bottom line despite any fees you're paying. That's just my thoughts, not the stance of this site, so take them for what they're worth.

Ha ha ha.....We heard ya man. . It's all just a matter for discussion now. It's interesting to see the platform that different people take on this issue. Discussion is good, it gives different perspectives and opens the mind.

So after having my car for some time, almost two years, I'm finally getting serious about a kit. I know that I want the Ings half kit and I can't afford the real thing so a replica is my only option.

My question is does anyone know of a reputable place where I can get this kit and for how much? Thank you.
