here in Pensacola, after Katrina we only had 87 octane for 2 weeks. we finally got some premium in. so i ran 87 for 2 weeks. did i see a difference? no, but then again i never even revved over 3K. will i ever use 87 again? ONLY if i HAVE to like this last time. not worth the risk, love this damn car too much!!

Here in Mississippi, Supreme Unleaded (93) has been very difficult to find since Katrina... I had to put 87 in once, but I bought a $10 bottle of nitro-methane (octane booster) to put in the tank as well. No performance problems....

I would be too concerned about knocking with the lower octane stuff. It's worth the extra few dollars, as long as you can find it.

yea i usually fill up at the half wat mark, i think paying .15 extra cents is worth it. its only a $1.50 extra for me (for half tank fillup)

If you go to Sunoco why not put in the 94 octane? It is the best, not the 93.

Its the same reason why people whos cars require 89 dont use 93. Its not required and a waste of $. The car requires 91. Anything over that, and its not doing you any good.

Why feed your baby tuna when you can afford caviar.

I was replying to the post that claim they got the 93 at sunoco because it was the best, I was just informing that they make a 94, and are the only company to do so.
