Default Need some advise please.

I went to the Nissan dealer in my area this morning to ask when they would be getting 06's in and if they had any Lemans Coupes coming in as well as find out about changes to 06's. They said I'd have to do a nationwide search for a Lemans because it is a limited produced color? and they said there are no changes to 06's or they would have been told. Soo, if Lemans are limited production should I try and special order one to my liking or wait till the end of october and see if I can spot one coming in to a dealer? Only having one Nissan dealer for like 300 miles near me kinda sucks.

Lemans Sunset is not a limited production color. They've made them each of the 3 production years so far. They're not many of them available as it's not one of the more popular common colors (silver, black).

The dealer is giving you typical BS. There are a couple of threads here already on the '06 changes and the Nissan site has some of them listed too.

I couldn't find a Daytona Blue Performance model with the options I wanted anywhere in the US so I wound up ordering mine and waiting the 3 months. It guarantees that you'll ge tthe car you want - exactly how you want it.

Cool I'll prolly drive to one of the dealers distant from me and have one special ordered. These people seem crooked and talking to my dad he said they've been that way for years so I'll find some place better to deal with. These ppl have an 05 base daytona blue with no extra's for $29,7000..thats a bit nuts lol. I finally decided to get a Lemans Enthusiast Coupe (or Touring pending on what dealer prices it at when I build it because I dig the burnt leather seats) and ordering a Vizage body kit for foglights.

www.nisan.com allows you to design your can and then check the inventory of the local dealers. That's how I battled the three dealers against each other to get mine.

Is that supposed to redirect to autoloan site? I don't see any 'build' options.

The one problem with the Nissan site build and find feature is that it will only search for dealers within 100 miles of the Zipcode you enter. I would find zip codes for other cities and use them as the starting point to expand my search. I searched every dealer from Dallas to Atlanta and from the gulf coast up to Nashville with that method.

Dealers are retarded. I went in and asked if the 06 tails could be plugged into the older modes or if you had to rewire it due to the tails being LED. "They should plug in, everything should be the same from 02 up." That is the responce I got. I do not like dealers. They are dummy heads and know nothing.

I spend half of my time in my companies car dealerships and honestly most of the sales staff aren't that knowledgable about the cars. the techs and product planners know a heck of a lot more, but of course its not like you'd have free access to ask them questions.

Salesmen make me so angry. You should have to know the product you're selling.

I HATE dealerships, I went to test drive a Z and they told me I couldn't test drive it unless I was going to buy it! He said becuase its a sports car, the more miles the less its worth, so I can only test drive it if I was willing to buy today and fill out all the financial paper work! I said ok, and left. I'm not going to put pen to paper for anything before I can test drive it. When I went to a Honda dealership, the guy made me test drive the car before we talked about anything.
