Special Thanks to Tintwerks !!!!
I am the member that won the free window tint at the RR-TI meet. I had Vince of Tintwerks do my tint today. I had him do a tint across the top of my windshield. I like how professional he was. I also liked how easy it was to talk about the ideas I had with him. I did end up going with his suggestions in the end. He really knows tinting and is a craftsman to boot!!!
I will post up a picture of the tint he did when it stop raining.
I think Omega Tintwerks in Pleasanton, Ca. did a great job.
I am super happy with the way it turned out. It is a really awesome job !!!
Thanks Omega Tintwerks !!! Thanks Vince !!!

Yeah, I know.
Worthless without pictures .......
I will try to get a couple posted tomorrow. What I really like about what he did is the lines and how they match the mirrors, window, and curves of the car. You have to see it. I can't believe it came out so good. Better than I thought it would, that is for sure!

Not true, you can tint the top 6" of the windshield. Otherwise, manfacturers would have to put clear window in all cars that are sold in Cali. My Firebird and Sable came with tint on the top part of the window. My Pathfinder and 350Z did not. Maybe just Japanese manufacturer just can't tint the top of their windshields? Not !!!!
Just wait .... you'll see in the morning. You'll be doing this $45 mod next week.
I'm taking the Pathfinder over in a day or two. The wife's request.

You are correct. In Cali, it is correct that the driver and passenger windows can not be tinted legally. However, that is not what I am posting in this thread. You must have missed this sentence: "I had him do a tint across the top of my windshield." I am posting about the tint I had Tintwerks do today on the top of the windsheild. Sorry if there was any misunderstanding.
My rear window was already tinted previously by another company. It was tinted at 15% so you can still see that cool Z tower brace through the window:
The rear quarters and side window were left untinted. I had Tintwerks only do the front windshield and am having them tint another car with full tint in future as well as my Motorhome.
This is one very high quality vendor.
Thanks for your reply.
BTW - The horse laughing was at the fact that my wife wants me to tint the Pathfinder. Generally, women could care less about tinting of cars. I just so happen to have a logical, yet, cool wife.

Thank you for the kind words AJ.
If you ask the cops about the legality of driver/passenger windows. It would be a big "NO you cant have tint at all". the majority of them just know procedures, not the LAWs. Idiots if you ask me. Officer of the Law my ***
