Default Doors Wont Stay Open

Maybe its the new gym that I'm going to but, each time I open the drivers door or passenger door, it will slam shut if I don't hold it open with my foot. I've compared it to other Zs in the showroom and they hold firm when you open the door.

I asked my service manager and he stated that it is the way it was designed. Has there been a change in production? The service manager stated that if there has been a change then it won't fit in my car???

I searched the site and found nothing?? is there an adjustment or fix??

Are you bouncing the door off of the stop and it's swinging shut because of too much force, or are the mechanisms that should hold the door open no longer working? My driveway is a fairly steep angle, and my doors would stay open even on it, when they opened horizontally. The verts are a whole different game.

my driver door does the same thing. the plastic part that stops the door must be too slippery, or the notches are not deep enough.

Default All agree, no suggestion??

Thanks for all the sympathy but, doesn't anyone know if the new production has door stays that can be replaced on my 2003 touring? Or better, is there some kind of gunk, like tar, that I can apply that can increase friction?

My wifes BMW stays put where ever you leave the door. Real quality feel. My 350z doors feel like junk in comparison.
