Default Extended warranties

I just recently pruchased a used 03 track with about 34K on it for a fairly good price of 24K.......all this posting about bad trannies and suspension problems has got me a little shooken up. I would just need some help from others that have experienced the problem and could shoot me a little help to as what i can still get warrantied. Any help would be great....i have just done the maintanance as usual when buying a used car......any extended warranty information would be great!!!

Your drive train is warranted for 50,000 miles.

Information about transmission and suspension problems? There are hundreds of posts on the subject.

Are you interested in recommendations about buying an extended warranty?

Yes. Extended warranties may be available from your Nissan dealer, but are usually through a third party. In other words, it is the third party who honors the warranty, not Nissan. How good is an extended warranty? Its only as good as the company who writes it.

Cool

I got my extended warranty through my dealership for my SB 05 touring (72,000 Mi). Find out what they will cover, how much more a month, Etc. If the dealership has a good record, then I guess the Ins. Co. that offers the extended warranty should also be reliable.
