license plate holes
got a estimate day to get my license plate holes filled in and it was $650. I thought that was a little steep what do you guys think. Also since I do not know if i will be doing this now, is there anyway to remove those ugly white things that stick out of the holes.
Damn, I know a guy that made a custom one off bumper in the OEM plastic (Plasticweld) and painted it for a friend of mine for $500... Here take a look...

for $650 get the replica Nismo front (Aerosync) and have it painted. http://www.gruppe-s.com/350z/zext.htm
Ok, so it'll be more than $650, but $650 is also ridiculous, I'll take my tiny hole, thank you...

$650 to paint the bumper? These people are taking you for a ride... I think it would be cheaper for you to BUY a new one or wait for a wrecked car and remove the bumper... It's insanely easy and its plastic for god sakes... I do not see how your shop wants to charge you a fortune for 2 small holes. I say either get the bumper plugs, find a Z without the holes or fill them yourself and use touchup paint to mask the filling....
speaking about taking people for a ride... That www.bumperplugs.com place is asking $25 bucks for two painted plugs...

That's why the nylon plugs/touch-up paint mod is the best way to go. Two plugs are less than $2 and are guaranteed to fit (after you measure the diameter of your drilled holes).
