Default Sold the Z September 21, 2005

Guys................. sorry for the MIA.

The Z is gone, Sully my bad, i meant to call you and ask if you wanted the nismo stuff but they offered me more money to leave the car the way it was.

But i sold the car.......... 38,000 miles on it 3 years later i sold it for $21,500. I broke even basically and had a car for 3 years free. I bought the Z for 21500 back then after trade in.

anyways, i'm still going to be on the boards so please don't be strangers.

lol, i was thinking the same thing. I bet you he isnt an accountant

to break even you needed to get the value of the car you traded in plus all the mods, plus what you paid for the car after the trade in.

+1 on not breaking even but you know what he ment. Its like going to Vegas, if you go there and gamble $1,000 and you leave with $1,000 you broke even, but you don't take into consideration the hotel room, the food, the LAP DANCES, but you still broke even. Somehow it works out!

of course it's not breakin even, i just feel like i have. I know i've spent $$$$$$ on the mods and stereo stuff, but all in all it feels like i broke even.

as for what i'm getting now?

picking up the the TL.

got the anthracite TL with Nav.

planning on making it look like this in the future.

Nice choice, the TL is probably the only *affordable* 4-dr that I would buy. So damn sexy.

a guy at work bought an Anthracite TL recently, loaded with all the toys. i *really* like the standard Bluetooth wireless support for his cell phone - he gets in the car and the car recognizes his phone and he can make and take calls through the audio system. the stock audio system supports DVD audio, Dolby and DTS surround and XM satellite. apparently, there are some hacks to get DVD movies to play back on the navi display as well. very nice!

yeh the blue tooth thing is a useful thing, as for the NAV screen, there are things out there already that hacks the use of dvd movies onto the screen.

not really interested any more. Ever since i did that for my Z, i never really used it. Maybe like 10 times.

i'm excited, as for FWD, i need that, that was one reason why I wanted this car. I can't drive the Z in New England winters.
