Default car problems, popular modifications etc.

Hello again,

1.
Are there any wierd quirks about the 350z?

I remember reading that previusly the twin turbo sometimes had to be warmed up for like 5 minutes before driving. Maybe that is common to cars with turbo etc...is there anything like that with the new 350z?

2.
Any other known problems with the car?

3. is the car just right out of the 'box', or is there a really popular modification that people buy to make it right?

no offense my man, but you had better do some searching before you get flamed!! do a bit of research, then ask some more specific questions maybe; sometimes noob questions irritate alot of folks! anyhoo, no quirks here with my 05. some folks have had trany prblems, ie grinding. some folks have had tire feathering. teh most common mod is probably intake.

No. Just weird drivers

First get a 350Z. Then concern yourself with forced induction. The horse must be before the cart

Any other known problems with the car?

Please read before you ask questions.

Some owners drive a stock 350Z. Some owners modify it. No two owners are the same.

Hey 350zless,
You've asked some pretty "generic" questions about the car that have been answered many many times before here on the forum. To get the best possible gathering of answers, run searches on your questions. You'll have reading material for days. I know nobody likes "search ****'s", but I only mention it because searching really will thoroughly answer the questions you've asked.

As for modification...There is a HUGE aftermarket industry for this car. "Right" in the eyes of one driver may mean modifying looks, to another handling, and to yet another, power performance. There are solutions to all of these things. You just have to decide what "right" means to you, see where the Z is lacking in your definitions and go from there.

Good luck, and welcome to the forums!

Here's some good reading before you even decide to modify your car:

BTW...welcome.
