Red face Who's got the most heavily modded / fastest Z here?

Does that title belong to a roadster or coupe owner?

I know on every forum there is a few heavy hitters so just wondering who is it here? I searched the gallery and haven't seen anything too crazy but I know there must be some crazy cars here!

I know there was a local bay area meet recently but I missed it sadly

Any yellow modded roadsters out there since that is what I'm thinking about buying?

Post some pics here

late,
rick

How do you determine "fastest?"

No pictures in this thread but I'm sure most of our "heavy hitters" are found here:

"Most heavily modded" and "fastest" are two totally different categories.

Some guys don't go for "show goodies", some don't invest much in speed....Depends on what floats your boat. As for fastest, hang out in the F/I section for awhile and watch the timeslips.....pretty amazing stuff.

Yo Rick,

Hahaha, got the new car itch again, eh? You need a new car like I need some new shoes.

Anyhow, I just filled up with some 100 octane today, so anytime you want to drop by the pad to check out the Roadster, let me know.

Regarding the best 350z, I think you'll be pleased to know that most people have either an all show or all go 350z, but not a true combo of both (could you be the first?). The one that sticks out in my memory is Sharif's Z at Forged Internals. It is a pretty setup all around Z- 600+whp, nice kit, rims, and some ICE.

I know you'll pretty much have ICE covered, but let me know when you are ready to make that step into forced induction. I'm sure myself or a few of the Norcal people can point you in the right direction.

Thanks guys for all the comments - I was reading that thread "400hp + please stand up".

Seems like most people are in the 400+ range but few are in the 500 hp range.

My buddy Nismon has the APS kit I think but I noticed many have the Greddy kit. Vortech also makes a supercharger right?

how do you guys decide which kit to pursue?

Sorry for all the newbie questions but if I do buy a 350Z, it won't be stock for long since I want GOBS of power this time since I miss my 450 hp DSM Eclipse days...hehe

I know true show cars are usually now fast due to weight but I guess what I'm asking is who has the best combination of speed and some show worthy mods.

As some of you who know me, I'm huge into speed but I love cars that are modded for a "complete package" so when you peek inside the car, there is as much cool stuff as there is under the hood.

thanks again in advance to a newbie

rick

There are a couple 600+ rwhp club members, too.

Advice to you search, there is a ton of info on all of these kits.

That's kcobean car. He's a moderator on this site.

Also, not sure what numbers he's pulling now but you should also check out mazzoo's Z. I think you'll dig his since it is custom painted Lambo Yellow .

s4Play, Miko....thanks guys....glad you like what the car has "become". Should be up around 400 RWHP here shortly....Sitting at 370 now and it's a blast. The 30 extra HP will just round things off nicely.

Try that link. If that doesn't work go here:

http://www.theexperience.com/video.htm

And select "World's Fastest 350z Video".
