Default Fairlady Z, 350Z - differences?

Other than being sold in Japan, are there any differences between the Fairlady Z and 350Z? Is the badge the only difference?

You would be better off just having a Japanese model shipped over.

^^^ that would the first obvious challenge of going rhd, not even counting the fact you would have completely rip the car apart to go from lhd to rhd.

i agree with rat, buy one already rhd drive if you want that bad.

find some forums based in japan. i'm sure right now, in japan, there is a dude, on his 350 forum, he is asking where he can get a lhd z. all you have to do is find this guy, and trade. even swap, free, you get his rhd, he gets your lhd, and everyone is happy!

There's more. Their air filter box opening is smaller than the US spec Zs, so Z owners in Japan are switching to US spec opening.

dont quote me on this but I saw 350Z with sidemarker lights as well as a "stub" on the front bumper...not sure what it is for but possibly washer nozzles for front headlights?

P.S.
I do realize this is the 06 model

Keep in mind with RHD in the US, you will never be able to pass anyone, go through drive throughs, toll booths, ATMs, etc. So is it REALLY worth it? Stop watching FnF.

I seem to remember the Japanese z's aren't top speed governed. Also, they have smoked reflector strips and another reflector below the Z emblem on the side.

Yeah, the top end on the japanese Z is 165 and on the american version it's 155 I believe.
