whats the hp ratings by doing the upgrade?

The hp is around 10-20 hp gains depends on the car and the mods! You should first get some bolt on mods for you Z and then get the Ecu flash, you will get better numbers out of it then.

155mph limited
167mph unlimited
actual speeds, ignore speedo, they're not accurate at high speed.

I remember a post a while back, where they dyno tested the car to see top speeds in 6th gear. I believe a stock 6MT (without the limit) reached 184 mph at stock redline, and more like 197 at 7100 RPM's. I think with the 3.2/3.3 from the AT, they hit 204. Something like that.

I think hitting 170 in a stock 350Z would be about the limit (in the desert, at sea level, with miles of straight, etc. etc.)

Just curious who got what refering to top speed on stock Z, last time I got 164 ml but there was a cop on other side of the road (lucky me he had no direct road to cross to my side, my brother who taped me going 164 called me from his car and told to get off the highway asap, because cop drove over the grass and bushes and start chasing me....) so I couldn't push harder i got nervous and start looking for the exit, which was in 2ml....Later on my bro called me and told to keep driving away from Highway because cop took the same exit and few more cop cars drove by....I drove for about another 25 exits on some other paralell roads before got back on Highway....Here I really was thankfull that I have NAVIGATION installed....SO Question is still out there what is the top possible speed on stock Z...? Thanks ...

Seriously please don't tell me you're all doing this on public streets/roads/highways... although I can't think where else there would be enough straight road.

don't even try it before you make sure it's long and straight high way with no cars ahead you. it's dangerous.

I doubt the Z has the aerodynamics or power to go 200 mph, it's a pretty damn impressive thing to hit.

On a 6MT:

I have heard 184.x something with stock gear ratios and top speed limit removed done on a dyno. 19xsomething with 7100 rev. limit and over 200 with the 5AT rear diff and reflash.

first, lets set the mood. 3am , dense air, cool temp. in april, very little humidity, no cars,... between KY and ILL. on the highway I gave up looking for a rev. limiter at 162mph with a close friend of mine in the passenger seat at 205lbs and over 200 lbs of stereo in the rear.
So, when they say the car will run 170 ++++, I believe!!!!

Mungo Jerry - In the summertime!

In the summertime when the weather is high
You can stretch right up and touch the sky
When the weather's fine
You got women, you got women on your mind
Have a drink, have a drive
Go out and see what you can find

If her daddy's rich take her out for a meal
If her daddy's poor just do what you feel
Speed along the lane
Do a ton or a ton an' twenty-five
When the sun goes down
You can make it, make it good in a lay-by

We're no grey, people
We're not dirty, we're not mean
We love everybody but we do as we please
When the weather's fine
We go fishin' or go swimmin' in the sea
We're always happy
Life's for livin' yeah, that's our philosophy

Sing along with us
Dee dee dee-dee dee
Dah dah dah-dah dah
Yeah we're hap-happy

Careful guys... our tires are only "W" speed-rated, meaning our tire's maximum speed capability is "only" 168 mph.
