Default Top Speed on a 350z

I am curious, with the techno square ecu flash. How fast can the Z go before it redlines 6th gear? Does anybody know, anybody tryed it? The fastest i went without the ecu flash was 157mph and had alot of room to go but the governer kicked in.

I've been wondering this for a long time. I did 159 with stock ecu several times. But reflashed for higher rpms.. ~7200, what would it be? Who can speak from experience?

i could only think of one thing after reading this thread:

Sandurz: Prepare for light speed.
Helmet: No, no, light speed is too slow.
Sandurz: Light speed too slow?
Helmet: Yes, we'll have to go right to...Ludicrous speed!
Sandurz:Ludicrous speed! Sir, we've never gone that fast before. I
don't think the ship can take it.
Helmet: What's the matter, Colonel Sandurz...CHICKEN?!

I've heard based on gearing (not power or aero) that the Z can top out 175mph.

the real question is, when you slowed down, did your helmet hit the nav?

Car had room to go faster rpm/power wise. Limiter said no no though. I'm a bit crazy to have even figured this out but... as the topic goes.. who's been crazy enough to actually find out what the performance/gearing limit is on the car... I don't know b/c that would necessitate an ecu upgrade.

ps: Kudo's to the Space ***** quote Awesome movie. In the movie they made reference to Space ***** 2, but to bad it was just an in movie joke.

With the Technosquare Reflash @ 7100 and the A/T 3.3 gearing.... we're geared for 207mph.

WOW, thats insane, those are the kind of numbers i want! Would you happen to know what gearing I would need for the M/T Z with the techno square ecu flash?
Thanks for the input!

You're doing 12.80 @ 108!!

a) How much faster do you need to go?
b) Your no where NEAR the stock rev

(just playing... calm down )

Send the ecu, to technosquare! For the entire reflash it funs about $595, that removes speed limiter, rasies rev to 7100, fuel remaping, and ignition timing! If you N/A it is the best mod you can get! After i get my turbonetics kit installed then i will reflash my ecu!
