I use the smartcord. Wired directly in and the wire comes out of my mirror (appxox. 4"). Hooks right into the windshield mount. Easy on/Easy Off. Check out the website: www.escortradar.com. Also check out the website www.radartest.com and read up about it also. Much better to read about it then just take our word about it. It stores 99 runs also. I love it.
This is a great little gadget to play with. I have one and simultaneously clocked my 1/4 time as I ran down the track. The accuracy over 4 runs was amazing! The 60ft, 330, 1/8 and 1/4 e.t.s were within hundreths of a second accurate. The only thing that was off was the speed, because this device measures terminal speed not the average over the last 66 feet of the track. You just have to be sure to calibrate it correctly.

MyZFORU2C How did you change gears and do your timer at the same time? And if you had a passenger do it, then you can believe the timing was way off. Elementry my dear Watson.//Which is correct. It's elementary when you try to do that sort of thing.
Apparently with the two sites/shortcuts I put on there, were not looked at by some.
A. You set it at a dead stop, it starts automatically, and all is auto. I call that more like college myself.
Again people read the website and not opnions. There's the location I put on and the test location I posted, both above. Research is worth more then assumptions. I'll go by what the research and tests show, not by assumptions that eveybody knows about something never used or read uo on or research. Then next step is post the facts. use the two links: www.escortradar.com and radartest.com and read up on it. And if somebody has different informaton, please post the link so we can read it also. I prefer reading the information stated as such by the links and in other threads. Research does wonders.
