I would go for the 2005.
The issue with the feathering (and Nissan's fixing it) apply to the 2003 and 2004 models.

I can appreciate the fact that the original poster would like to have detailed info like he mentioned he had on his Honda. I would too.

For example,
It was just the other day that I found a post buried in this site that gave a good detailed explanation of how the tire pressure sensor works and why it shows dashes until you start moving

Here is the list that I found on the TSB's that I hope hekp you out.

Just makes sense to get a 2005 where it seems like all the kinks were worked out.

so if there is a track model 2003 then i have no idea what model i have. also mines did come with 18's. do i have track or touring. What i meant by extra cpu is the extra gauge with all the cpu functions, from my understanding. that only came on the track model during those years? is there any way to tell what model i have by the vin number? thanks for all the help guys !

No you cannot tell the model from the VIN. I believe that I answered your question in another of your posts: Touring.

This forums needs more work obviously and need more helpful mechanics that know the car Bolt by Bolt. Sorry i am just too used to the S2KI.com site. By the way thanks camaro.

Get the 2005 Model....avoid the 2003 Z (This is the FIRST year Z and had some issues).

Default Nissan short on details

I dont even know if the 350Z has ventilated seats for leather. i dont even know if the base model has freakin HID headlights or not. they said the enthusiast has xenon HID and nothign for the base.

As for the diffrent years, My other friend has an 03 350Z and his gears Grind, his seats rock back forth ,his tires feather, and his Z doesnt stick to the ground. I want to know what year is the best to Get.

Please i really need the help from this community.
Yep, 350z forums are a little short on details. I was a regular visitor to the Focus SVT forums. They have part number info, spring rates, details of 5 levels of computer codes, to name a few. Number of Ford employees from sales, service, parts input to sites. Even some pre-announce stuff gets in. They have a list of build numbers and who owns them.

Without Jason we'd be in a mushroom patch.

Brembo brakes and that crazy high sticker price (which YOU SHOULD NOT PAY EVEN CLOSE TOO)
On the sticker it also says what model it is...
