well it was in the shop for like 7 key marks all the way down to the metal on my passenger rear quater panel but since it was already going to go in i decided to paint the CF hood. Im also sanding and painting the interior as well. Doing a yellow and white job on the doors and center console. I think im pulling the trigger on that in december.

Maybe 3 pounds. I installed the hood myself and was able to remove the oem hood myself. They are both very light. The reason i know the cf hood is lighter is that it doesnt close nearly as easily. The clearance is the same and everything is just as smooth but the hood needs more velocity to make it shut than before bc there is less inertia. Id bet its about the same with paint. Truth be told i tried to do something else with the hood and it didnt come out the way i wanted so i had them wetsand it and paint it. This wasnt originaly what i wanted but i like it none the less. Oh yeah and fitment for the seibon hood was flawless, but the clear cut that came with it looked like chunky soup lol.

Congrats man, that looks good. I need to get me that hood, or the VT version. Now just get a garage and keep it in there.

Im still pretty paranoid that the person who keyed my car is going to come back. It is almost draining the fun out of owning the car. Like everytime i see the car i expect something to be done to it. A new door ding or scratch etc. My car tends to get beat up alot for some reason.....

Because it's yellow and yellow is ugly. It's the color that depreciates the most!

LOL JK. Yellow is just super eye catching, and there's alot of dumb people. I don't know what else to tell ya.

yellow is the rarest Z color. I bet it holds value more than decreases value. A one year, low % color? Plus if youv ever seen UY you know its an amazing color.

EDIT: Not that i care. I plan on keeping the car for atleast five years.

Ok now guess what just happened!!! Another door ding on my car right where the new paint is. The paint just flaked off! Lookes like a dimes worth was just pulled off like it was chewing gum. Im taking it back in on monday and hopefully they will re-spray it but im bracing myself for a fight. The door ding is very very small but it is there and it could be used as an excuse but paint shouldnt flake like that for a little *** ding. Son of a mother ahhhhh.
