Default A-pillar gauges and optional side airbags

my touring has 6 airbags, including the 'curtain' side airbags. just wondering if a-pillar gauges get in the way of their operation.

I dont think so. The side airbags are in the seats and I am pretty sure the others are in the headliner not the a-pillars.
I'd hate to get an a-pillar cover in the face as the result of the air-bags going off.

Hey Tekwon, what was said right up their is exactly right. Im a Design Engineer for New Venture LLC, we are an integrated/tier1 supplier to GM and we designed the Headliners for the H2, and the GTO/HOlden Monero, and their are two mechanisms that will trigger the curtain airbags that ARE TUCKED INTO THE HEADLINER. I have an 04.5 Touring like you and I will be ordering A-Pillar gage clusters very shortly, so dont be alarmed. Like he said in the above quote, i wouldnt want a A-Pillar substrate coming into my face lol have a good one.
