I don't feel like paying for a subscription online to see how Consumer Reports ranks the 350Z as far as quality. I've been lurking for a while, and i think my purchase decision will come down to predicted longterm reliability.

Don't base your decision on CR. Most of the problems were the 03's some 04's.

 

Last time I looked in CR, they had the Z listed as "recommended," which means it's got to have at least an average reliability score (otherwise they wouldn't recommend it). zand02max is right on the money with his post too...the '03s had much more trouble than the other model years did, so CR's score will probably be skewed towards the unfavorable.

 

This is reliability.

CR check rates the car meaning it is recommended meaning it reliability is good.

 

No RexX's on mine - 3 nice photos. Some times I get those on emails on Outlook Express from people when they send photos. No explanation for that!
