I personally dislike convertibles. That rules out the S2K. Sure, you can get a hard top for it, but by then, you're looking at $38k. No thanks. The Z comes with a roof- standard. Did I mention the superior looks, engine, heritage?

Considered it. Drove it. Just no ooph around town under 5K rpm. Walked away from it.

The Z feels so much better. With the top up on the S2000 it is really cramped. Make sure when considering the S2000 you drive it around with the top up. The Z's torque is adicting. The gauges are much nicer in the Z IMHO. There is more room for your stuff in a Z believe it or not. There is a lot of fun stuff out there to mod your Z as well. That front and rear stut bar are really nice on the Z. You'll get more looks in the Z.

Oh, and the Z owner have more fun! Lol !!!!

Enjoy the ride.

If I'm going to spend over 30K on a car it better be fast...
I beat three different S2K's at the track WITH my modded 2002 Spec V 14.4@96mph I even beat on with a 14.6???
I do see some getting low 14's but not normally.

I drove my friends though and on the highway they are VERY nice and fun to drive. Up in Mt. Dora FL. it was fun to drive in hills/twisties too.
I'm not a fan at driving above 7K though.
