Anytime I'm driving I swear I can smell the exhaust fumes from the car infront of me. Even if the windows are cracked a little. I'm tired of it. Plus there's a slight smoke smell from the previous owner.

Do they sell portable units for cars? Would a small household unit with an inverter suck up too much juice? Since Nissan didn't give the Z an in-cabin microfilter, I think I want to put my own in.

 

There's a Sharper Image Portable Ionic Breeze, but it only helps a little bit, from my personal experience. Haven't heard of anything else portable like it.

 

Ya know... I've been wondering for a long time if breathing in so many free electrons that those thing release is good for your health or immune system. They never say anything about its effects on health or long term studies.

 

Those "Ion" or "ozone" machines are not good for you. There was a big article about them in Consumer Reports. Most people like them because of the scent they give off but that sent is the same thing that creates the smog over L.A.

 

yea that sharperimage thing is bs, total waste of money.
