Yeah, I am getting the short end of the stick on that one, but it is for my dad so I don't mind helping him out since he raised me and supported me with everything while growing up

I can see many people have put a LOT of money down or had good trade ins.
I put 7K down and 400/Month for 6 years with a good rate is what came too pass...
I normally had 500 dollar car payments so I thought this was nice.
Must be nice to put so much money down...?
Agreed, you guys must be putting ALOT down or have good trade in. Just the basic math of $30k / 60 mos = $500 (not even including tax or reg) and we all know $30k will only get you the base Z.
$610 a month with no down, 5 years, 13.8% interest for 03' Touring, being married does help for insurance, I don't think I'll be able to afford the car if the insurance wasen't what it is.
Well I mean in many ways it's a good thing because if you're young like jvanquish and are paying it off on time than it does great things for your credit. On the other hand... I have been noticing some have been paying quite a large amount of their paycheck per month just for the car... which can (depending on how much you make I suppose) hinder you from enjoying other luxuries.
I'll throw a "twist question" into this thread as people answer.....What would you be WILLING to pay each month to own this car? In other words, is your payment at the very outside of what you consider reasonable, or would you pay more for the pleasure of owning this car? How much is "too much". I just thought since we're talking finances, it would be interesting to see the response to this question.
ugh...
300 bucks a month and about 150 in insurance was my plan...
thats technically how much i can afford lol..
so if u cant do it... wait!
so what if u got **** blocked for a couple month while saving dough...
come on...
