Hi. My name is J. and I'm a torqueoholic.
I have a problem. I can't keep my right foot off the gas pedal. Everytime I have a streach of open road in front of me with no other traffic I find myself going thru the gears, shifting at 6000 rpms. I am addicted to this. Someday, I will probably get a ticket. I don't care. I'm a torqueaolic, addicted to the pull of the engine and the sound...oh the sweet sound of my engine at wot. I fear the only cure for my malady is to take my car to the track where I can indulge myself to my hearts delight.
I have a feeling I'm not the only one here who suffers from this disease.

Thank God it was only a weekend toy and not my daily driver. 375 hp in a 2600 lb car makes it a torqueaholic's dream.

I set my shift indicator to 4800. It blinks red at around 4300 and goes solid red at 4800. So, if I'm accelerating hard, I just watch for the light and shift... works like a charm!
I have a similar problem, I work literally 1.5 miles away from my apartment, and it usually takes me about 10 minutes to get home. I've been coping with it for a while now, its to a point where I don't even realize it.
