Question Splashguard question (what would you do?)

As the time draws closer to placing my order for the Z, I'm left with one or two decisioins still to be made. One of them being this. I only want the front splashguards installed (I think the rears are ugly and provide minimal protection whereas the fronts prtoect the whole side of the car). Now, should I order the set (4) with my car and simply remove the rears when it gets here, or should I just order the fronts from Courtesy Nissan and install them myself (risking a color variation)? If I choose the latter, does the car come with pre-drilled holes, or am I going to have to do the drilling myself? I'm sure it won't be too difficult if I have to, but I just wanted others opinions.

Thanks

Just get the ones from Courtesy if you can install them yourself. You will save a few bucks and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to do it. If you get them 'factory installed' and remove the rear guards you will leave some hole.

Installing the front ones yourself will require you to drill a couple of holes.

One good thing about Courtesy Nissan is they have directions on how to to the work. The link below has some direction on installing the guards...read over it... if you feel comfortable with doing it yourself, go for it...

As for color, I think they use the same parts at the factory.

Thumbs up

Thanks for posting that link....I didn't see it before when I was at the site. The directions make it appear to be very simple, which I'm sure it is. Looks like this is more than likely what I'll do.
