Take it to Maaco if you would like your exhaust and underneath of your car painted for free.

 

Hey guys, sorry I couldnt update until now. I decided not to go to Maaco and went to the dealer first anyway Friday night. The Nissan dealer has a large body shop and I was impressed with the guy who did my appraisal. Total estimate cost was @ $1500 for repairing the existing quarterpanel and door and all the repaint/coat. Took it to Geico Saturday for the "official" estimate and they said $1950, and cut me the check right there for $1450 (minus my deductable of $500). So it looks like I will come out OK in the end and from damage to repaired will be only a week. I know it sounds minor in the end, but there is nothing more sickening than hearing that metal on metal sound and knowing your new baby is going to need work.
