I know that some paints are pearl or metallic & some are not. Is Pikes Peak a pearl or metallic white? Or is it just flat white?

Pearl actualy, they dont use metalics in striaght white since it turns them silver.

In Japan, this Z color is called White Pearl... and the White Pearl costs more -- about $120 if I remember correctly. The only color that cost more. Brick is not sold here.

Sat in a PPW performance model and saw it up close.Awesome color.

 

I have yet to se PPW in person, but in all of the pictures I have seen, it looks amazing! It's definitely the color I want to get if/when I get my Z (or maybe Silverstone or Daytona Blue, or..this car looks good in so many colors!!!)

 

I ordered PPW because I've seen the Nissan pearl and I love it. I ordered the car before seeing the PPW on the Z but since then I've seen it in person and I'm VERY happy with my order...

krinkov... No. Same colors are offered in the US and Japan -- except.... Japan does not get the Brick.


Also... loved your pix of the super cars and retired F1 cars where you work. That is quite a collection of automobiles that I, and perhaps most others here, would love to sneak out for test drive.

 

heh, yeah we test them every time we get done working on them(the street legal ones that is), well the boss and his head tech, but I get to ride along

 

Yup, PPW is awesome in person.

 

I ordered a PPW Z also early december......should be delivered late january early feb.

 

it's called Glacier Pearl...its a tri coat process....and its also an option.....it looks fantastic....it's wot I ordered.....

It was built on Dec12.....it will be in my hands mid january
