2+ Years,34K Later, I've switched Cars
I really hate to continue to excuse Acura for not stepping up to RWD and also a V8 in their larger luxury sedan, but damnit they are the best of the FWD crowd.
Just no comparisons in driving say an Acura TL vs a Nissan Maxima.. The Maxima is so wild compared to the TL.
Nice choice, but still I'm not letting Acura off for using an inferior drivetrain layout, they know better.
At least in the RL they gave it RWD, I guess 4,000 pounds and a V6 was even too much for them going to the front wheels exclusively.
Acura can sure throw together a well made interior. I think they could be the top of the segment if they would go RWD. I'm sure BMW and Infiniti and even Lexus are very pleased they have not yet gunned for them, when they do decide to watch out

As myself, after a good amount of time with the Z, I start realize the Z is very uncomfortable for my liking as a daily driver. Lately I have been looking into the Subaru Legacy GT Limited as my next car. 4 doors, good amount of power, AWD and a very nice interior and a reasonable price tag.
