So you see my point then. I always thought "browsing around for" was like "looking for". I had no idea "browsing around for" meant "attempting to gather information on".

Did you just go on Springer and find out that your long time girlfriend was really your best friend from high school after his operation? Wow.

No, I don't see your point. I always thought "browsing around" meant "browsing around" and "was looking for" meant "was looking for". When you told me to re-read the post, did you expect me to read between the lines and make assumptions about what the guy "really meant". He meant what he wrote, not what you assumed. Take my advice, man-up and get over yourself. You won't lose face buddy, this is the internet for f*cks sake.

Good for you giving him the benefit of the doubt but when someone is "browsing around for parts" or "browsing around for cars" or "browsing around for anything" you know what it means whether you want to admit to it or not.

This is going to go on for a long time so I'll just say what I want and then you guys can spend the day disecting it. The OP was "browsing around for shortblocks" at SGP's website. If that isn't obvious enough to you as to what he was doing then you can stop reading here.

A shortblock is not the same level of modding as an intake or exhaust. He didn't say he was browsing cold air intakes and saw a pop charger "please explain the difference". He said shortblock. People in need of shortblocks know why they need shortblocks and don't need information like the diff between shortblocks and long blocks. People in need of short blocks are building something big, not doing any simple bolt-on. He obviously just wants to know what they are but instead of just asking, came up with "browsing for". If you have ever been to SGPs website there is a full explanation of the difference between their shortblocks and longblocks and everything included in each package. He was talking about stuff that he had no idea about. You guys can lick his wounds for the rest of the day and I won't care. If someone comes in here tomorrow saying "I was browsing around for some pistons at SGPs website and they have rods and pistons. Can someone explain the difference between a rod and a piston?" I am going to be doing this all over again. Don't believe into the hype that there is no such thing as a stupid question. There are plenty of stupid questions out there and I am looking forward to seeing all of yours.

Here's a stupid question:

Did you recieve any lessons in reading comprehension as a child?

Reason why it's a stupid question:

refer to your posts

Answer:

Probably so, but you didn't pay attention during class b/c you were to preoccupied with getting stuffed in a locker everyday.

LOL.....reading comprehension? You must be one of those people they put instructions for on shampoo bottles. It's called inference or deductive reasoning. You see, I can take written words and get meaning from them. I bet if the first step on the back of that shampoo bottle wasn't to open it, you would be beating yourself over the head with the bottle until you blacked out.

I agree with TK... nobody browses for shortblocks... especially if you don't know what they are!

What happened to your clever retorts? Have you been reduced to name calling? Take my advice, man-up and save face. This is teh interwebs for fcks-sake. LOL. For some reason I expected more. I should have known you would prove to be no better than the OP.

You got it pegged buddy. I got nothing to prove here. It was you that proved you can't read plain english. If you want to attack me now to draw attention away from you lack of comprehension skills have at it.

ps-don't worry about reading between the lines on this one, I wrote what I meant.

18B4V, what's going on? The funny thing is, this dude was saying that I'm responsible for the "pussification" of this country. If he knew what you knew, he'd probably think otherwise. LOL

I'm not SF, but a 96B20. It's funny, some people think they're hard on the 'net, but if they knew some of these people on the streets, they'd have a different perspective.

P.S. I got mad respect for what you do man.
