Default Did anyone know this?

I was bored so I went through the manual and found out there is a trunk release inside the car, it's under the stabalizing bar on the left (if you are facing the steering wheel , its behind you on the left).. it's a string with a hook and just yank it.. Neato.

Yeah it's basically an emergency release just in case the battery goes dead and you need to open up the hatch. Guess it would also be helpful if someone somehow got stuck back there....we'll it is a small space come to think of it

Ive fit a person back there, squeezed under the bar and put her head up towards the window. she stared straight up and to the stars. she had fun. I let her out tho, she didnt have to pull the string.

I used to ride in my dad's Gen 1 RX-7 like that, but he had that lattice dealio on the back to keep out the sun, so you couldn't see up, only behind.
