Angry Sticky Cup Holder

Any advice on how to keep my front cup holder from sticking? Often I have to push it and then wait a minute or so until it pops out. Other times I have to wedge a credit card underneath to pry it open.

If it is not clean when I check tomorrow, can it be removed and cleaned easily?

I've never heard of this problem before. Sounds like a bad fitment issue. Go ahead and disassemble the whole thing and try reassembling it again, it can't hurt. That usually works in general. If not, maybe order an OEM replacement? Could be a bad spring.....

ha, Mine just started the same thing. When you push it in, don't jam it...push it in lightly, I found that when you do that, it doesn't malfunction as much.
