RSX= SPORTS COUPE

Z = SPORTS CAR

You would think that the decision is OBVIOUS!

i'd probably take the rsx and the pool cleaning equipment because with the equipment, you can start your own pool cleaning company, clean some pools and buy a turbo setup to turbocharge the rsx and make it faster than the 350z.

what would you rather have?
But your friends wont be nearly as impressed with either the rsx or the pool cleaning equipmen!!

haha dont get an RSX-S. I had an 03 and well... look at my sig, I went through 3 transmissions in 11 months and 11k miles, I never once beat up on the car cause I never had the ****ing chance, the day they "fixed" my transmissions it would grind in a new gear... they just couldnt fix my tranny, first 2nd gear would grind even when fully warmed up, then after they "fixed" that common problem (clubrsx.com look it up) my 3rd gear started to grind and spit itself out of gear whenever it wanted, once that was "fixed", I couldnt get into reverse in the dealership lot... that was enough, I moved to the SRT-4, beat the **** out of it for 31k miles with it being highly modded for 25k of those mods (was making about 280 whp) and the tranny never once would grind so it was not my driving.

this thread is obviously a joke people...

Though I think its funny how some of us Z owners make fun of honda owners who say they would rather spend $30k on a "honda + mods" then turn around and say instead of a vette we would rather have a "Z + mods".

Ok ok guys, you guys are murdering this guy over here. I mean Z (any trim) vs. RSX type R, the Z will win any day in my opinion. But I think where he might have been coming from was the idea of exclusivity. (at least a bit i.e: championship white, recaro seats, 220 hp, limited production, brembo brakes etcl etc.) Granted, Ive driven the Type S personally, my friend's car, it had IHE, made 191 whp on the dyno. Now the car moved, remember it weighs 2700 lbs, it was very balanced and poised, and probably the best front wheel drive car I have ever driven, but when it comes to the being outclassed, the Fair-lady is defnitely the one wearing the pants.

I think when it comes to honda/ac the S2K is the closest comparison in performance, but thats a whole other issue thats been fought and beaten to death since the Z's inception. Bottom line for that, different cars, different purposes all together. (Dont tell anyone I said so, but the Z is better lol)
