I ventured over to my dealership today to touch base - figured it had been since January, why not?

To be honest, I had my defensive mode on full power - fully expecting either a shrug or another pat on the back for deciding to get in on the first batch. Much to my surprise, I talked straight up with the sales manager, and he pulled my file.

Out popped my original order form, which was filled out and signed by the GM. Might sound like BFD to all of ya that don't live in CA, but note: When I dropped that deposit on them in January, the sales guy would NOT fill it out - because he "couldn't guarantee the final price".

But there it was, signed, sealed, but NOT delivered Few more months...

I wasn't "promised" MSRP, but the fact that they had filled out the paperwork on their own, and signed off on something they wouldn't when I first put down my $$$$ was a good sign...

We will see, but walked away feeling pretty good.
