Sure looks to me like the date the order was placed has a relationship to the number on your package (no pun intended)...my dealer told me the car was scheduled for delivery the first week in September...I'm hoping his lips wern't moving when he told me this

By the way..has anyone noticed that the number on the address label of the surprise package matches the number on the address label of your confirmation? Guess we do have ID #'s at NNA

Hi Folks!
Got mine in the mail today #333 was wondering what the "surprize extras" are? I was in Japan last week and dealers are lost saying mid July for domestic delivery. Could not a get a brochore out of them. Today my Delaware dealer advised me delivery has been pushed off until the 1st. week of Sept. I'm working on getting mine air freighted. Also when it gets in I'll have mine up on a lift getting pictures and info. I suspect some things will be left out from the older Z to keep price down. Main thing info pack told me was 287 hp at 6200 rpm and I was surprised the compression ratio was so high 10.3:1 For being a global car high octane gas is not available in alot of countries. This web site has nice photos and I'm wondering what is really behind the seat will we get a nice storage compartment or a place to put our 10 disk CD players?

Just a thought- You may have ordered the first or second day of the pre-order (15th/16) but it doesn't mean that the dealer actually sent it to NNA or whoever until a later date. I think thats why the linear regression equation is a little screwy.

My number is 3539 and I ordered on 2/10/02. This is also out of sequence; maybe the Regional thing has some credence. I talked to my salesman and when I said I had a feeling I would get mine in September, he said it might still come in August.
That conversation took place after Nissan rolled back the day clock on their flash site. Quien sabe?
