I doubt there is a direct correlation between your order date and the number. I think, instead, that it correlates to when your dealer placed the order. Remember that your dealer didn't necessarily fax off your order on the day you placed it. I remember my dealer saying something that led me to believe he filled all pre- order slots and then faxed them all off to regional HQ at the same time.

Ordered on 3-21-02 and my number is 3271. Seems to fall in line with what we are posting.

Also Pat, the number on my black confirmation envelope was nothing like this 3271 number. My address label on my black confirmation label was 010398678.

Compare both address labels, not address label and 3271. Look at the front of both envelopes, that's where they are the same

Number on black package

I ordered on 01/11/02 and they faxed it to nissan on 1/15/02, I am supposed to see my car in august..I hope more sooner than later..I absolutely cannot wait patiently, it has been sooomany months now, heck almost ahalf of a year.Oh yeah ,I am #1403
